Hi! I’m Charlotte — the traveller, planner, and snack-hunting street food (ahem - mango sticky rice - cough) fan behind Route & Roam.
Travel has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — from quick 2-day getaways to epic 6-month adventures. I’ve explored over 20 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America, with a special love (and knowledge) of Southeast Asia, where I’ve spent over 9 months soaking up the culture, flavours, and warmth of the people.
Most recently, I returned from a 3-month journey across Southeast Asia, and I’m already sketching out my next big route: South America.
Over the years, I've become the go-to travel planner for friends and family — answering questions like:
“How would I spend three weeks in the Philippines?”
“If I’ve got two weeks to get from Phuket to Singapore, what’s the best way?”
That’s when it hit me: I love this. I’m good at this. And now I get to do it for more than just my inner circle — I get to do it for you!
What I Do
At Route & Roam, I craft custom travel itineraries tailored to your style, pace, and passions. Whether you want to go deep into temples and tuk tuks, sip coffee in hidden cafés, or hop between countries with maximum adventure, I’ll plan every day to suit you.
I don’t book anything — but if you go for the Obsessive Planning Package, I’ll link every activity, transport, and stay directly for your ease. Think of me as your personal travel designer: researching, mapping, and refining until you’ve got a trip you’re buzzing to take.

I specialise in Southeast Asia, but I plan for anywhere in the world — even places I haven’t been yet. Why? Because I love learning about new destinations as much as I love helping you get there!!
